Children and Young People at St Mark's

Children and young people are a very important part of our church community. We are always glad to welcome them on Sundays and we make the following provision for them.

10:00am service:

There is always a crèche for babies and young children up to around 3 years old. This is found in the Narthex.

‘Little Ones’ Sunday school group is for children between 3 and 6 years old. It provides a story and craft activities or games.

Primary aged children 6+ are taught using a variety of methods including, drama, songs, crafts etc. This group meets every week.

Young people aged 11-15 have a teaching group exploring the meaning of bible stories through a wide range of activities.

Children leave their parents during the Gloria near the start of the service and return during the Peace before Communion.
