Community Centre
St Mark’s Community Centre plays and important part in the life of the Church providing a venue for Sunday coffee, for ploughman’s lunches and international suppers, for quiz shows, for meetings, for ‘auction of promises’, for Sunday school, for a creche and for concerts; but it also provides income for the Church as it is let out during the day time for other activities.

The Community Centre was first launched in 1976 by Shirley Thoday and other dedicated helpers, in collaboration with Noel Jones, retired Head of the Coleridge Community Centre, offering a wide range of activities open to all.
Links with the Tourist Office set up “The Visitor in Cambridge” course, which ran continously from the early 1980’s to 1991, and again from 1997-98 as "The Blue Badge Guide."
