Regular services

Our main Sunday service is Parish Communion at 10 a.m. Each week our choir leads a mix of traditional and modern hymns and sings a beautiful anthem during the distribution.

Children are an important part of our church community: we offer Sunday school for children aged 3-6, 6-11 and 11-15. We also provide a creche.

After the service, we gather in the community centre for coffee (the real thing!) and friendly conversation.  Visitors are very welcome!

Sundays 

8:00 a.m. - Holy Communion (1662 Book of Common Prayer)

10:00 a.m. - Parish Communion

(5th Sundays of the month [except December] - joint service with Grantchester and Trumpington churches. On the next 5th Sunday, 30th April, the service will be held at - St Mark's, Newnham)

(with Wholeness and Healing on the third Sunday of the month in the months of January, April, July and October)


New pattern of evening worship for 2010 :
(trial period for new time and pattern)

5:15 p.m. Refreshments and fellowship in the vestry for those who would like it before the evening service.

6 p.m. - Evening service (no evening services during August)

1st Sunday - Holy Communion

2nd Sunday - BCP Evensong and sermon

3rd Sunday - Informal service (come and share music, poetry, prose, and thoughts on a given theme, listed in the pew slip a week or two in advance)

4th Sunday - BCP Evensong and discussion

5th Sunday - Holy Communion


During the week

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at 9 a.m. - Morning Prayer                                      (On Tuesdays morning prayer is said at Trumpington parish church)

Every Tuesday at 11 a.m. - Holy Communion (1662)


Pattern of all-age worship

Exceptions from the usual Parish Communion format at 10 a.m. each Sunday:
