Sunday Discussion Groups in the vestry, before Evening Prayer at 5.00pm, will begin again on January 8th, 2012, with a course on the person of Jesus.
Bible study and prayer groups
The Monday Bible Study Group meets on alternate Mondays at 10:30 a.m. For more information please contact Sue Wagner (Tel. 563 435).
The Tuesday Bible Study Group meets weekly at 19.30 at the Watts' home 3 King's Road. Tel. Andrew Watts, 353488
The Thursday prayer group meets weekly at 10 Stukely Close, on Thursdays from 6 – 6.30 pm. Just turn up, or for more information or to ask for prayer, phone Anne Howie on 356140.
The Friday Prayer Group meets on alternate Friday mornings at 10am at 12 Dane Drive. For more information please contact Jenny McLachlan (361 318).
The Mission Prayer Group meets in Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 9.30am to pray for our Charity of The Month. Contact: Barbara Nunns (352463).
The choir at St Mark's are always looking for new members, so if you would be interested in joining please speak either to any of the current singers or to Graham Walker, the Choir Director (on 01223 313872 or graham@bluespoon.com). The choir rehearses on a Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church hall.
Young Adults' Group
We're a lively group of young adults - that is anyone (very loosely!) under thirty. We're a diverse group that includes singles, marrieds, undergrads, postgrads - and a few under-fives!
We're involved in all aspects of church life, with regular activities running that all Young Adults are invited to take part in, particularly the Lunch Gatherings on Sundays after coffee in the hall. If you’re a Young Adult looking for friendship and fellowship, do come along and join us, now or at any time of the year.
